As you can see we’re Free Falling, the (in my personal and biased opinion) the largest and fastest growing writers site around. We might still be small, but we got a lot of active members that keep us growing day by day even if their admin doesn’t post as avidly as maybe he should. We’re open to affiliates right now, so please if you’re interested go ahead and e-mail me at zasakka@yahoo.com.

As most of our members know I am currently working on a website for this board. I got a couple of pages done and trying to work on it as time permits. There is a suggest fourm open to members so please post, the only way I’ll know what you want is for you to tell me.

From the staff members of Free Falling, we'd like to wish everybody a very Merry and safe Christmas. Hope everybody has a good one!

We now have a sister site called Forgotten Thoughts. If you haven't seen it yet, look for a thread in the Stories section. Check it out!

Communication Theory Workshop
« Thread Started on Sept 10, 2005, 10:08am »

This is a short maybe one thread workshop that, I, NIk is running. I learned the communication theory in latin class, and I think that it would be a good idea for everyone here to know about it. The people that are intertrostead post a paragraph of any type of writing, I don't care if its bablling or not even your own work just do it.

Why are people so iffy about curse words? I mean, what are they if not just... words? Moron doesn't hurt as much as dumb(a-word)(Can't curse... parents around... -_- proof positive...). Why are these words designated as evil, thus becoming "curses"? Very confounding...

An agitated question regarding one of, what I believe to be, society's biggest oddities. You could also call it a rant, but I wouldn't myself.

Hmm...

I suppose it would coerce you into writing in a certain form, like we're taught in schools. Indent at the beginning, keep everything in orderly sentences, and end with the proper marks. Right?

It makes it invalid unless you choose to believe it.

It also means that your writing doesn't reflect truth, but what you interpret truth as.

Also, that means that you cannot remain unbiased in your writing or speech. Everything you say or do reflects who you are.

FINALLY!!!!!! You've got the gest of it William

All words are all scribles on a peice of paper, how you interupt them is up to you. I like how you added onto it Will, I neve rreally thought about it the since you interupted it. My latin teacher applied it to how you translate latin, and I apply it ideas on the bases of writing. You acually applied it to how people act hrm...this gives me more to think about.

Thanks! I guess I understand how it applies to latin. When you see a phrase, it is up to you to discover what the writer meant, and what he was thinking when he wrote that down.
